What is also now widely accepted is the notion that more probalistic and task-oriented computational activities are classifiable as Agentic AI. Mr. Gibson contends that that classification is reasonable in part, but that we need to accept that Agentic AI is not artificial, but rather, real intelligence and therefore needs to be classified as Agentic Synthetic Intelligence. Agentic SI is producing results that are approaching non-mandated thought. For example, Agentic AI is responding in ways that are unpredictable and approaching autonomy, are producing paintings and other artistic works and also effecting results that are non-parametrical. These attributes are either on the brink of real intelligence if not already there. Regardless, given the gray area that Agentic capabilities present, it is believed that an Agentic SI characterization is more appropriate.
